 | Worser Bay Boating Club is the "Sunburst"
dinghy sailing capital of New Zealand. |
 | New members are particularly welcome. Membership
Application Form and Membership Subscription Rates. |
 | Look out for our regular "Have a Go Day" |
 | Regular Saturday afternoon fleets of 25+ Sunbursts
plus other good fleets. |
 | See the Gallery pages for
pictures of our Sunburst fleet. |
 | Single design small boat racing at its best. National
Champions lead the Sunburst fleet but there is intense rivalry in the
middle of the fleet and lots of support and learning opportunities for
beginners striving to get amongst the leaders. A fleet for every one. |
 | Sunburst dinghies are ideal for Father/Mother and
Children sailing. But also great for teenage sailors looking for good
competitive racing. Prices are reasonable. See
Boats for sale. And there is storage for boats at the club. |
 | The club owns 6 Sunbursts. They are available for rent to
graduates of a Learn-to-Sale program, or members with experience. |
 | Learn-to-Sail activities are a club priority. Both
formal courses and informal coaching and help. The annual Hebtro
Trophy event is a season highlight. It is a fundraiser for junior
sailing. |

 | The WBBC is a non-profit organization, dedicated to small boat sailing
and the teaching of small boat sailing. And a place for good company and
friendship. The bar is open each Saturday after sailing. |
 | The club house is located on the
northern end of Worser Bay, at the entrance to Wellington Harbour, NZ. By road
it is opposite the intersection of Awa Rd and Marine Parade, Seatoun. |
 | There are other places to visit on the Miramar
Peninsular. |
