ALL Optisail 2001 clinics have restricted numbers

Optisail 20001 clinics are open to all Optimist and P Class skippers who have attained the Yachting New Zealand Level I certificate at the time of forwarding their enrolment form. They shall also be working towards the Yachting New Zealand Level II certificate. If you have any queries about this please don’t hesitate to contact the YNZ National Programme Coordinator Julie Worth on (09) 488 9325 ext 803 or email on julie@yachtingnz.org.nz to discuss this further.

We look forward to seeing you there.

An extra charge of $10 may apply to those not able to show proof of YNZ Level II certificate at registration.

So get on to your club and make sure you get your Level II certificate in time.

Preference will be given to those Optimist and P Class sailors who have already attained Level II and are attending for the first or second time*, have applied before the closing date and have indicated a second choice. All participants should be financial members (Family membership is acceptable) of a Yachting New Zealand affiliated club. Acceptance will be at the sole discretion of the National Programme Coordinator.

All meals will be provided but participants may need to supply their own cutlery and drinking mug. Check programme for details.

BOATS & GEAR

You will need to bring your own complete Optimist or P Class along with some spare parts and lashings. A full list of the requirements your boat will need will be mailed to you once you have been accepted for the clinic. Full sailing gear, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, along with ample warm clothing and suitable footwear will also need to be supplied by you.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS
