Hebtro Trophy 2004

The Worser Bay Boating Club would like to thank everyone for their support of the Club’s annual Hebtro Trophy Day.
Both on and off the water, we were thrilled that the day was such a success. Held in support of junior yachting, we were pleased that financially we reached our fundraising target of $10,000.
Gavin Brady added a sparkle to our day. Along with 5 junior sailors and the Zana crew, Gavin helped sail the super maxi around the race track but unfortunately did not lead the crew to victory.
First over the line (apart from the Youth Scheme fleet of Elliot 6 metres) and this year’s Hebtro Trophy winner is Murray Bridge and his crew on The Guarantee. A close second went to Mike Calkoen’s Flying Boat and Third place went to Tony Phillip’s, Nedax Backchat.
So, on behalf of all the children who will benefit over the coming year from this event, we would like to say to supporters, celebrities, sponsors, boat owners, organisers, and everyone who helped to make this day so much fun” a HUGE BIG THANK YOU”.
Warm regards,
Heleen Visser
Commodore
