Club Sailing Instructions

Refer to the Almanc for Club specific Sailing Instructions until I can get them for this site.

Changes for 2001-2002 Season.
Latest Racing Rules of Sailing:
You can download them from here.
http://www.sailing.org/rrs2001/

Starting:

We are going over to the new starting arrangements as per the "ISAF/NZYA 2001-2005 Racing Rules of Sailing." Section 26.

Blown Out Series Races
We are changing the sailing instructions so that:

bulletAny series races blown out are sailed at 1430hrs on the resail day.
bulletIf two are blown out they are sailed at 1300hrs and 1430hrs on the resail day.
bulletIf three are blown out then two are sailed and the third are cancelled.
bulletOne race can constitute a series.

This way everyone knows what the score is and when the races are instead of having to reschedule.
It also makes the progressive handicap system manageable.
