Starting:
We are going over to the new
starting arrangements as per the "ISAF/NZYA 2001-2005 Racing Rules of
Sailing." Section 26.
Blown Out Series Races
We are changing the sailing instructions so that:
Any series races blown out are sailed at
1430hrs on the resail day.
If two are
blown out they are sailed at 1300hrs and 1430hrs on the resail day.
If three are
blown out then two are sailed and the third are cancelled.
One race can constitute a series.
This way everyone knows what the score is and when the races are
instead of having to reschedule.
It also makes the progressive handicap system manageable.
